How Anal Are You With Your 3
For those that do your own maintenance, IE Oil changes, Tire Rotation,WashingEct...
Say for example, do you wash the insides of your wheels when doing Tire Rotations, clean the engine compartment when doing oil changes, get all the Door Jams and inside the Hatch/trunk when washing?

I know for me when I am just washing and waxing i get all the nooks and cranys of my M6. B/c I know if I wash it and then its all clean and I go to throw something in my truk and all that un-washed surface area is spotty it annoys me, thats why I don't take it to places to get it washed its a waste of money for one and they don't do nearly as good of a job as a good old fasion washing by hand.

Well my neighbor called me a little **** last night, as he watched me clean the insides of my rims and put tire dressing on the insides of the tires. I am just glad he wasn't there for the wash lateror the oil change from the night before
That's hilarious, Ken.
Yeah, if I wash at home I do all that, especially if getting ready for a meet. Then I make sure all ther jams and hinge areas, inner doors, etc. are clean and dry. Except maybe the tire dressing on the INSIDE. Don"t think I"ve done that one. But washing the entire wheel, inside and outand tire when rotating?Yes!! That"s what takes me so damn long to rotate my DAMNED tires!!!
Last year my neighbor's wife asked me if I was TRYING to rub all the paint off.

I have personal experience w/that one.I used Armour-All on several dashboard of several cars I owned and they all developed cracks... BAD cracks. I have avoided the stuff ever since.
Been using Armour All for years on Nissans, Mazdas, and Accuras and never had a problem. One Maxda I kept for nine years and used it weekly on everything - no cracks. It'smostly silicone which is inert so it doesn't react with anything. I've heard the complaints and seen some of the damage attributed to it, but from my experience it does what it's supposed to do. I did notice that most of the cracked dashboards were on GM and Chrysler products or old (very old) Toyotas and Datsuns.
The problem seems tocome when you stop using it.
I had an Opel (YES, an Opel,) and several Volvo's that when not applied regularly cracked what were perfectly good dashboards that had already lasted for years w/o cracks.
I know about the silicone in Armour-All and assume that it is how it reacts in sunlight to the plastic it is applied to.
