Default HID install woes

So i got my HID kit today. After the shop closed I pulled the car in and installed them, super simple. The install was cut and dried easy and they look great. the problem I'm running into is the high beams that i thought were great not more than 2 hours ago now look yellowed and dim. What is the best soloution to even them out. Should i just look for some 6000K high beams? i've heard nothing but ill said about putting an HID in the non-projector housing so I'm guessing thats not a solotion. What have you guys done to make up the difference?

I have Silverstar Ultras in my High beams and they are a white light VS the yellow of the stock bulbs.

you can get the ebay 10$ bulbs if you just want the look to match your HID's a bit. If not then go for the ultras...i say go with the ultras and don't mess with the ebay crap.

Do the Ultras have a higher output to match the HIDS or are they just a different color? I used to sell a gang ofthose whenI worked for Advance Auto but onlybecause sylvania sent me rebates. In all honestlyI thought they kind of sucked but that was before they came out with the SilverStar Ultras.

the ultras are SUPPOSED to have brighter light than the regular silverstars but silverstars have a tint to them, the bulbs aren't clear so if your stock hologens produce lets say 3500 lumens the silverstars would prob produce less but then again there ultras. You can't compare HID's to hologes though. I am assuming that you have 6k for your HID's if so then it will match up a bit and will deff look better than hologens.

As I understand it, the Ultras are more like their OsramEuro equivalent, inwhich case they should be pretty good. Stay away from the blue coated ones though.
Sylvania sending the sellers rebates for increased sales. Hmmm? What a surprise.Andwhat an American thing to do.(<<< Irony)

I have the European H1's in my Fogs on the F150, they match the Utra's for color pretty good.
