As I understand it, the Ultras are more like their OsramEuro equivalent, inwhich case they should be pretty good. Stay away from the blue coated ones though.

I had the blue coated ones in my old dakota because a guy returned a set of 9007 he didnt like so i got them for free. They seemed to be a vast improvement. They were 100w high 85w low. I think I'm gonna try a few things. Maybe split the housings and add a projector high beam?? haha

As for the rebate, it happens all the time, thats why as a consumer you have to do your research. I have a friend that sells cameras and he does it ALL the time. If he sells 3 crappy Fuji's (UNDER $300) he gets a $50 rebate, if he sells a high dollar Canon or Nikon( $3000+) he gets $20.
