Default Help help !

Hi Guys !

First and for most, I would like to say that I am new to these forums and wanted to say hello to everyone!

Now to elaborate on the issue that I am going through, I have a 2015 mazada 3 I touring and Today as I was driving to my mailbox, my screen and radio was working perfectly fine. When I got to the mailbox, I turned off my car to go grab the mail. When I got back into my car and turned it on, I realized that my screen stayed black with the mazda logo after a few minutes it went to the application screen where you could see the navigation, radio, etc tabs and than it went back to the black screen with Mazda logo and as of now it continues just going back and fourth between both screens. I tried resolving the issue by disconnecting my battery to see if that would help and nothing. I also did a soft reboot ( holding down the BACK + NAV + MUTE buttons together) and a hard reboot (holding down the MUSIC + NAV + VOLUME buttons together) to see if that would resolve my issue and no luck with that neither. I don't know what else to do to resolve this issue ? Only other thing I can think of is maybe a bad fuse ? I would appreciate any help. Thanks !

Book it in with Mazda for diagnosis, might just need a CMU/MZD software update.

I’m thinking the same just because it’s trying to reboot but it just can’t finish the process

1) Bad Fuse=NO SCREEN
2) Always a bad idea to try to resolve any electronic issue on cars with this type of ECU/PCM control computer.
3) If you do not have or can not get at least a Diagnostic Scan Tool to connect to the OBDII connector then take it to the Dealer or a shop capable of diagnosing your problem.
4) It may be advisable if you can not take it to a service shop soon to pull the monitors fuse?

Good Luck...please post up what the resolve was!

Thanks for the pointers. I have a appointment on Monday. Let’s see what the dealer says ! They think a flash update should help it. Fingers crossed
