Hearing a Vibrating Noise from Front Wheels?
I own a 2008 Mazda 3. From living in NYC, it is hard sometimes to avoid those massive pot holes. Over the past few months I have hit some pretty nice holes with no physical damage. However I have been hearing a low vibrating noise when my car goes about 30 MPH. Does anyone know what this could be? I think maybe I need a wheel alignment or balance?
To better explain, when i first got the car in 2008 I could not hear anything when driving. Now since I hit some potholes, I feel as though I can hear the tires rotating. Could be pretty annoying! Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Could be a lot of things.
I suspect it is the tires themselves.
What brand of tires do you have?
I have goodyear on mine, and the noise is auful.
Thery were ok when they were first on the car, but after a couple thousand miles on them, they got very noisy, to the point I took it to the dealer complaining of a wheel bearing.
Take it into the dealer and let them check it out.
Bob.

I brought my car into Mazda and they said my transmission was making the noise. I am having it replaced. Does that sound right to anyone? It is covered under my warranty so it is not costing me anything.
