Default Headlights

How does one reset that PITA retaining clip on the headlight? any suggestions? the bulb installation was easy up until that point. thx

I pushed it back into with a small screwdriver when I put my SilverStars in.

They are a PITA. I don't know why Mazda chose that particular design. Worst ones I've seen to date.
I use a mirror behind the headlamp assem to see what I'm doing when changing the bulbs. It helps a lot.
