Default Headlight Problem

So I decided that I wanted to change the bulbs on my 04 Seden. After changing them the lights have never been the same. Any bulb I stick in the housing shoots out about 5 ft. before hitting straight to the ground making it impossible to drive at night. What could the problem be? I do not have the stock bulbs anymore so I can't just stick them back in. I was told by a local guy that it's the cap on the top of the bulb, is this true? Where can I get a set of bulbs for my car???? Pls help, I'm desperate.

Did you get the Clips back in correctly? If not the bulbs might be loose and could be at the top so the light shines down.
What kind of bulbs did you stick in BTW?

Also make sure you get the tab on the side of the lamp base in the little notch in the back of the projector. It's been awhile, but I think it goes to the bottom.

i had this problem too.. as i said in another thread, you must take your time doing it.. there is a metal bar inside of it... and once you take out the old bulbs it never goes in properly.. and it is hard to fit your hands down there. well on the driver's side anyway. you have to get it in perfectly or it is gonna do that.. and very dangerous at night.
