Thanks. Yeah I think she's lookin' pretty good these days too... still a few ends to clean up, like repainting the calipers, but it's been too hot for epoxy paint.

I'm sure you are referring to the picture of me standing next to the car? I noticed that too. Am I really that big or is the car smaller than I thought it was?

BTW: The shop that aligned her set the rear @ 0.9*-1.0* neg camber and added just a bit of positive toe to compensate. So far so good as far as grip and handling goes. I hope this will save my tires too. I added 6 psi up front and 4 psi rear and she handles GREAT!!!

One problem they found though....

And I know just when it happened too. I thought I had gotten away w/it. Damned new potholes @ 4:10AM!!

You dont even want to see my racing harts, it would make kids cry.

I was actually thinking on the way back home exactly why your car seemed so small in the pic, and the only thing i came up with is that YOUR A FREAKING GIANT (no offense ).

How often do you have to repaint the calipers, is there a brand you recommend?

Thats nice that you can afford a shop to do some pro alignments, i just have you tell me what they did to your suspension and apply it to mine

Also your 3 is looking great, and i see that you also updated your sig on m247, and i also see that YOU NEED TO DOWNSIZE IT

1) Racing Harts are heavy. They shouldn't bend that easily. The Kosei's are only 14 lbs ea. and it was a BIG pothole outta' no where too. Scared the sh*t out of me as I was only about a mile from my house that morning. They are lightweight so I guess that's the trade-off. At least it didn't crack. I can have this one fixed.

2) I am about 5'11-3/4" tall and 150 lbs!! How much of a giant can I be?

3) At first I was using the Dupli-Color kit, which is cheaper and easier to come by, but it's what you see now chipping and wearing off after about 8 coats over time.
I did the G2 epoxy paint this time on the rotors. 'Stuff's expensive (+/-$50 w/shipping) and it stinks to high heaven, but they guarantee it will not chip for the life of the car. I'm thinking about redoing my fog light surrounds using it, but.... another $50 for red??? Maybe later on. The wife would probably kill me. Maybe if I have some blue left over....?

4) Jerry's, the shop I mention to you before, are known to do the Hot Rods around here for some. Most wouldn't bother, but they are not expensive either... like $75 for a 4-wheel.

5) Yes, updated here too as are both my avatars. It's GREAT having time off from work, but sucks that it's so hot out.
That sig is within 24/7 perameters. 350x700. Mine is only 312x636, and that includes the scrolling mod list. I checked.

1. Whats with your brake light housings? Is it just the reflection or are they reflective/chrome around the edges.

2. I used the Duplicolor caliper paint a few months ago.....Sh*t.....Guess I'll just wait for the chipping.

Ya i really like the harts but dam i wish they wasent so heavy, but they are not bent but they suffered a really bad salt exp and curbage so they need to be redone atleast 2 of em.

Its the picture i guess, you have a magic camara btw how good is the sound quality assuming its a video camera

I just want to paint my calipers basic gloss black and put a sticker on it as well dont know what its gonna say yet, but dam 50 is fkin expensive, ill get my friend to go half with me on that we just gotta get colors we both want haha.

I just applied your setup on Forza 3 on a honda and man that thing handled like crazy, just only on certain courses the back-end would actually start to come out if came in too fast and tried to brake, but then again i didnt add any toe to it.

Dont care if it is in spec, the pic is friken huge , its like texttexttexttextBIGPICtexttexttext

Yes, unfortunately. If I could have gotten them in black, or the OE GT tails were less than $400 a set I would have gotten them instead.
On the good side, the chrome does help reflect and refract the light from the LEDs which are after all, pretty directional.
And as Tracker already said, I knew from the beginning that I wouldn't be using the reverse light housings, though I did have them in for about 10mins. I've seen them before, knew what I was ordering but just never liked that look. But that's the way they come. They were still under $150/set of 4 compared to $400/set of 2 for the OE's. And you still only have LED running and brake lights, and they are still more chrome than black, so no complaints.

As I remember, when I did mine for the first time in '06, I spent a lot of time cleaning and re-cleaning the parts then making sure they were completely dry. I removed the front calipers and hardware so I could more easily work on the pieces in my shop. I brushed on two very well laid light coats, then another. Being it's a ceramic paint, curing is helped by heat, so after time to set up properly I took the car for a drive and carefully warmed, then heated up the brakes a little at a time.
Within a few months, chips started to develop, especially in the front. I did a touch up coat.
A few more months, a few more chips and another full coat later, then another and another and so on.... I think it was around late 2007 when I gave up on the stuff and have been waiting for anything loose to fall of. That's what you can clearly see now in this picture.
