Default Halogen Low Beam Bulbs?? Please Help!!!

Hey all...Noob here, Miguel. I got a M3 '06, the Mazda3i 4dr. touring to be specific. It's a rather rare color scheme with the black paint and black emblams all the way around. Anyway, I have heard advice in both directions that I can and can't add the super white bulbs to my car as a mod. That effin sucks if I can't. Does anyone know if in the world of Mods, where this lies in on the scale of 1-10 on difficulties? Anyone in the Bay Area that would let me pick their brain, use their Modders for the work, refer their mechanics even? I'll buy you a six pack and a pizza!! LOL. Thanks in advance for any and all pearls of wisdom, much appreciated. I really want those bulbs. Miguel

I don't know which low beams I have I guess it's the H7's but they look real dingy at night, real ordinary you know? I guess the M3Speed is the one that comes with the super bright white lights right? Well those are the ones I want to order. Will those work on my 06? Do you know which product I am asking for so that I don't sound like a complete ***? Assuming those would even work. I have a guy who can put them in for me too, so that rules out the issues of me messing it up. Any other bits of advice is welcomes as well. Thanks, Miguel

Your looking for HID's ( High Intensity Discharge ) headlamps. There are a few sponsors here that sell them, namely Xenon Expert and Dabears2k. I have Apexcone HID lows and DDM HID fogs, but I would particularly like to see you go with DDM, seeings how they aren't dropping in quality like some other brands. Here are the kits I spoke of:

i think he wants the headlights from the speed3 which i think might be a better quality halogen which would be brighter, im not sure if the headlight bulbs would be the same but you could just ask your local dealer. Its not so much as its hard it just thats its a real PITA, anyway gl

The Stock bulbs do look pretty yellow, and the MS3 S is going to have the same bulbs as all the other MZ3 S's.
As long as you are running a 55w H7 bulb in there you are going to have about the same amount of light, now color change (IE going to a whiter light) does seem to give more visible light to see by.
Now the reason I said 55w bulbs is anything bigger is going to burn out the harness, or if it is wired direct to the battery with a relay for a higher wattage bulb you might damage the light itself.
The other choice is HID's, 3 times the light out of a 35w bulb.
