Mazda3 Offered in both a sedan and wagon, this sporty model offers a great car for the family, as well a fun track car.

Lightbulb Half dash brightness and wipers work seperate from washer fluid.

Long story short battery went bad. Replaced battery (the OEM batteries are junk along with stock Alt.) Car runs great. All of a sudden I got out at night and my instrument cluster is dim and my wipers and washer fluid will not work at the same time. I have no clue were to start I hate electrical. Brightness adjuster does work but only within the new brightness. Radio lighting effects are still ok. Thanks for any clues or inputs.

you have something drawing to much power, if you already went though a battery and alt, then something is obviously wrong, have your dealer take a look @ it not just replace ****

Also curious, but have you pushed the button between the tachometer and speedometer while the lights are on? When the headlights are on that button switches the cluster from day to night mode. With the headlights off the button toggles the red back lighting between 6-7 settings..... whichever you select with the lights off will be the brightness of the "day" setting with the lights on.

I can't comment on what's going on with the wipers though.
