Default Front passenger noise over gravel or small bumps

I have a 12 Mazda 3, 2L, non-sky, auto with a/c. 125000kms. Going back about 2 months the noise starter. Shortly after Mazda did a front end alignment. Not saying it is related. I can not pin point the noise. It is like a clunking sound to me but know everyone describes sounds differently. It is only over small bumps. Train track and speed bumps don't cause it.

Things I have replaced:

Both struts, coils, strut plates and bearings (this month)
Steering knuckle (this month)
Front drivers wheel bearing (this month)
Both tie rod ends (this month)
Both front stabilizer bar bushings and end links (this month)
Both front rotors and pads (this year)
Both front control arms with ball joints (drives this month / passenger last year)

What am I missing? The noise is driving me crazy. Next drive I drive I will try and get audio of it. But any ideas would be great.
Thanks

How many threads you going to start about the same issue? lol

Here is your other thread for those reading this one. lol
https://www.mazdaforum.com/forum/maz...40/#post187466

Same response I gave on the other thread.....
This is a no brainier........ Take it back to MAZDA and have them inspect it!

You could also post the alignment sheet that will show the before and after which will help some us see exatly how bad (or not) you chassis alignment was?

You really changed a lot of parts so their could be dozens of responses with "GUESSING", IMHO better be safe and just have it checked out!

So first off the second thread was a new problem. May or may not be related. That's the reason for the different thread.
Secondly Mazda didn't find any problem with the car. They said wait till the noise gets worse. They didn't even notice the worn putter tie rods. So I'd rather not waste my money.
Lastly every part was in need or replacing. I mean some parts could have waited a few more months. But rather not have to change them in the snow.
The alignment was almost spot on beside the steering wheel being off and right tire. I did not get the report.
I don't care if there guesses but still may be helpful.

To start there is no such thing as a "spot on alignment". Aliment with each car is generally set to within specification which can vary between every vehicle. You should have gotten or return to MAZDA and request a copy of the alignment report!
Fine I will be the first to start the guessing.. LOL
Re check EVERY new part that was changed on the vehicle.
Then guessing more....things lol

Check the tire for abnormal tread wear or out of round more then .010
Check the engine mounts
Check the transmission mount
Check the exhaust hangers
Check the radiator supports
Check for wheel out of round more then .010
Check for lose splash and chassis guards
Check the steering rack
Check for missing or broken wheel well fasteners
With the vehicle on a rack or high enough to inspect with a flashlight carefully examine for any missing undercarriage impacts or damage
Have another person ride in the back seat and have them "guess" where the sound is coming from. Sounds created from vehicles are seldom where you think they are coming from!

I still recommend to return it to MAZDA or whomever changed all those parts. You should have a labor and parts warranty ultimately if there is a noise caused from the service they perform I should think they are responsible for correcting it?

Ok good luck....

My mistake. Within specs, if have to be so precise. Just like it is alignment, for your second align. Not alinment as wrote if we want to be precise. If we are printing those things out. Beside alignments won't really tell much other then the toe being in or out after changing putter tie rod and control arms. Would assume it to be out. Thanks for your guesses though....

I do alignments professionally both standard(oem specifications) and custom (track) for a few decades now so to me reading the technicians alignment report information is a clue to what is going on.
Why does it seem that you are dismissing answers to my questions to help you? If you know so much then I am sure you will solve your own problem lol

Its fine I am use to it on forums so I said in the last post ......

Good luck!
