I just bought a new 2014 Mazda3. Is it worth it to purchase the extended warranty? The manufacturer warranty that comes with the car is for 3 years, while the extended warranty adds an additional 2 years for about $2,000.

Be very careful with extended warranties. 90% of them are ripoffs. The only one i would buy is the true factory extended warranty. That would be MEPP for a Mazda.
