Hello I'm french
i have a mazda 3 2018 2l 120 skyactive-g
can you tell me if in your regions, you use e85 in your vehicles.
If yes, did you need to reprogram the vehicle for this use. Thank you in advance for your answers .

Your Cars PCM/ECU would deffinately need reprogramming to sucessfully run E85.

What is unknown is, here in the U.S. at least, all cars built to run E85 have upgraded fuel systems which are not damaged by the ethanol. Do you know if the French Mazda3 models were equipped with E85 compliant fuel systems?

For USA = E85 users.
General E85 use. Look for additives:
Additives; Info copied: Special formula encapsulates alcohol, ethanol, or methanol based particles and creates a protective layer preventing them from corroding vital fuel system components.

For specifically Mazda Skyactiv there is no current ECU re-programming to use E-85 full time anywhere...yet? At least that I have read about in the Automotive Mechanical periodicals?
And no quality reliable aftermarket listings for a safe way to access the ECU let alone knowledgeable Tuners to make the adjustments.
