Is there any way of setting the DSC to default as off?
I don't know yet if there's a corilation but I just drove half a tank with it off and picked up 2mpg. I'm still tracking mileage but, if I could have it just stay off, it'd be a little easier.

I don't know for sure, but probably through theECU.
It sounds like a good question for the dealer when you go in for service, though. I know the seatbelt warning can be deleted by the dealer, but you have to sign a waiver when they do it. So I don't see why they couldn't do the samewith the DSC?

And for the others that may want to do the same, please post any findings.

I just drove similar highway miles and ended up down at a little over 26 mpg with it back on. I must have been on the gas pretty hard at times. Maybe it doesn't matter if it's on or off for mpg.
