I'm looking into purchasing a 2012 Mazdaspeed3 with Tech package. I understand that the vehicle has an auxiliary audio input. But can anyone tell me if it also has a USB input so that my iPod can charge and be controlled from the steering wheel audio controls?

Hmm... according to this youtube video, it doesn't seem like the iPod can be controlled from the vehicle's steering wheel controls.
Does anyone know of an alternate solution that would accomplish this?

 

You can control it with the steering wheel controls when you connect via Bluetooth
