This might be a dumb question but is it normal for a Mazda 3 sky active HVAC directional **** to be significantly stiffer than the climate control and fan speed? For some reason mine is really stiff it. I just wanted to know if this is normal.

 

only when turning it to full cold/max ac. Otherwise no smooth as butter.

 

My temperature control is fine. But the control to switch between defrost, floor/leg vent, main vents is very stiff. Its the **** all the way on the left on a 2012 Mazda3.
