Damage estimate?
Good morning-
My wife got in a bit of a fender bender on her way to work this morning and said the front bumper and hood were banged up. Any idea on what the cost of repairs may be for this kind of accident. I know it's hard without seeing the car, but was curious if anyone had been in a similar accident and could give some insight. She rear ended a SUV, so she went under the back bumper a little. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thank you

Most likely more than your insurance deductible. It doesn't take much on any car these days to run into multiple thousand $$$ bills.
Say bumper, grille and hood with repainting....maybe $1500-$2000

Wow that sux.
Was it a hatch or a sedan? I'd say the hatch would beclose to the high range and the sedan closer to the low range, since the hood, bumper and grill and I dont know what else is different.Whats the condition ofthe headlights/foglights/radiator??
and btw welcome to the forum.

not a good way to start out in the forum.. lol.. the mazda 3 is a fairly new model (even tho its been aroud since when.. 03?) so even the junkyard might not be an option... still worth a try.. u can get cheap parts there.. dont go to the dealership....
^ ^ ^ '04 in North America. '03 eslewhere.
What SPeeDy said. If you're a good DIYer, you might be able to do much of the mechanical/bolt on stuff yourself and just have it all aligned and painted by a bs.
