Default Custom Look

I just purchased a 2010 Mazda3 i touring and am now looking to give it a personal touch and make it stand out. I have the copper red with the dune interior. Can anyone give suggestions as to add to the car or where to look. I am thinking of maybe chroming the outer handles and other things and maybe a really thin strip (color ideas?). Anyone else have ideas? I am also toying with the idea of putting a strip of LED lights in the headlights to make it look like the Audi's. Does anyone have experience doing this and could offer suggestions?
-Thanks

a 2010 3 already stands out, as for what you want its all up to you, some will say no chrome or add 19in wheels etc. The led strips have been done on the 2010 3's already and on a bunch of other cars as well. As far as i know there isnt much to mod exterior wise like a bodykit or whatever.

Remote start is a good add on to anything.

...assuming "anything" has an autotragic transmission (something I've never learned how to drive with).

Placeover chrome is gaudy IMO.

But really it's your car, so whatever you want to see everyday when you get to it is up to you.

Here are a couple of things I have done, along with alot of LED replacement lighting, and an HID kit...

Of course I have the generation of 3 that still looks good stock...sorry had to say it.

I have to agree.
If you had a Charger or Durango *elbows Alex*, Buick or Caddie, chrome it up if you want to, but these cars just don't do chrome well, IMO.

Copper Red Mica is a pretty cool color! How about finding a way to replace that smilie grill (Mazdas mistake) w/something more appropriate?

You have an i, and therefore the smaller wheels. Upgrade the wheels and tires to 17"er's. Or find some Mazdaspeed wheels take-offs and go to 18's? The new MS wheels are hot, imo, but a little on the heavy side.

By the looks of things he already has 17" wheels; they're the same as the 17" alloys that came on my 2009 Mazda3 i Touring.

The OP, not Alex. Alex has an S (2.3L) car.

You must've gotten a package upgrade on yours Dale. I believe in '09 the std size wheels for an i were 16's... up from 15's before that.
Perhaps a "value edition" (VE) package, or in earlier days ('04-'05 at least,) Mazda had one called the "power" package for the i? It was upgraded to the 16" alloys instead of 15" steelies/covers, and had the side skirts and bigger brakes of the "S" models.

As I understand it, the Mazda3 i Touring (aka. Mazda3 i Touring Value Edition) starting with at least the 2008.5 issue Mazda3 came standard with the 17" "Y" spoke wheels. My 2009 was a bone stock Mazda3 i Touring 5-Speed with literally zero options, packages, or accessories came with the 17s just like in the "zoom-zoom" blue brake caliper picture.
