Default clutch problem!

so today i was driving and all the sudden my clutch just got really really smooth. it was easier to push in, harder to jump with, i can switch gears with practically no revving. my car has never acted this way before and im not sure if i like road the clutch and its about to give out or if anyone can offer a better explanation.

i can start it still and now it will move from first gear with no stall without me touching the gas.

i pulled up and let it coast to almost a stop with no gas / no clutch and it didnt stall either. i got nervous and pushed in the clutch to stop it though..

im just very worried my clutch is giving out. my car is driving 10x smoother but i feel like this wont last long. any advice?

Sorry but it sounds like your clutch is close to gone or the pressure plate is worn out. Either require clutch replacement.

On a car Clutches last well into 200,000 miles with no trouble (as long as you know the proper way of using one). Most clutches last the life of the car. If you are getting less than 150,000 miles from your clutch with normal use, you need to practice more! I know this as I have driven over 6 million miles with a 15 speed semi.
