That"s a PhotoShopped pic, and a bad (or just quick) job too.
Being kind of old school myself, I have wondered what my 3 would look like with a... ummm 2-2.5"roof chop. Now that I have a visualidea, I think Mazdagot it right.
That one looks too Magnum or300 to me, and I ain"t crazy "bout those cars. They remind me of thecars from a bad mid-late "30"s "B" Gangster movie.

I said I wondered what it might look like chopped, not that I was going to actually do it.Not that I could afford to actually do it. Besides, do you know what chopping a modern 4 drhatchback (w/window frames) would entail?

Among many other periodicals, I read Car Kulture Deluxe mag. Hot Rods, Gassers,Lead Sledsand Chops, all pre-'68 stuff, so it got me to wondering about it, that"s all.

I should have looked at the size of that custom I posted above, before I posted it.
Way to large.
I narrowed it down, and touched it up a bit from what it was when I first downloaded it today.
I DO like the chopped roof alot.
It makes a sharp vehicle look even sharper.
I photoshopped the side windows, and, when I win the lottery, I think I would like to see my 3 take on this look.
Some say the idea of chopping is dated.
Well, I don't think so.
Magnum did it , and even though it was a bit radical, many like it, and bought them.
Again, it is in the eye of the beholder.
