Chips all over hood, replace with carbon???

Chips all over hood, replace with carbon???
My hood most have 50 chips in it. Do carbon fiber hoods hold up to the weather and rocks? Should I bring it to the dealer for warranty. should they have to cover this? 15,000 miles and a little over a year old.
