Changing Parking Light
I have been running around the last week or two with a burned out parking/running light and decided to finally change it today............what an adventure!! Who ever designed these 3s definitely had NO idea on how to design something to be easy to repair! Took me 25 mins to get my hand in there to turn the socket then pull the bulb out, I couldn't get enough torque on the socket to get it to pop free. I thought of using pliers but didn't know how brittle or soft the plastic was and didn't want to purchase a new part, I ended up using a screwdriver/voltage tester to push on it so it would rotate.. In the end I got the offending bulb out (with a new cut on my thumb) and new one put in, all this so the police quit stopping me in the mornings........at least they have been nice LOL. Just glad it wasn't a headlight again, I hate that damned spring that holds it.
