Then I stand Corrected, my friend has an 06 and he said he couldn't get the A/T, I thought it was because it was not offered, not that there wasn't one close enough to get [sm=oopssign.gif]

 

mayb its the dealrship that didnt ahve it. they wanted a sale no matter what,, and ur friend kinda got the "hook line and sinker" bit.

 

maybe he didnt awnt it. or didntw ant to pay the extra 1k juts for an automatic. i mean one thousand dollars just for an automatic transmission when the standard is better and better fuel economy... dude just teach your sister to drive the car. its not hard. i learned in 2 days with my own car lol

 

Tell her how you just heard a story about a monkey that could drive a stick shift. Then ask her if she's a better driver than a monkey. That ought to motivate her.

Seriously though...definitely not worth trying to switch the car from stick to auto. If she must have an auto, sell the car, take a loss on it and buy a different one with the auto. It will be more reliable, less expensive and WAYYYY less hassle.

 

i just realized something about this thread he spelt automatic wrong hahaha.. well actually mispelled.. lol SST i like that. ask her if she as i have said for the past while.. if she would be willing to learn how to drive it... WAIIIIIIIT. why is your sister getting this car i nthe first place. if it would be this much work tell her to buy her own

dude id rather drive a Manual Bus LOL. but tracker you did make the worst decision buying a auto.. unless if you have a wife or significant other and she drives it. otherwise the 5spd is soo awesome.
