Central locking problem
wiring issue, likely a wire being rubbed to ground, though that doesn't seem likely only after 7 years... I doubt that an open wire connection would do this, but i'd have a look at the front doors wiring - the flexible part between the frame and the door - to see if there's anything obvious there.
then again it could be simple corrosion, I know a few people that have had corrosion on the PJB (passenger junction box) connections cause a handful of different problems. And yours is about the right age for that to start if it's the issue.
