Default Brake Reservoir Leaking

My Brand New 3 is leaking brake fluid from the cap, its parked on my drive facing downhill, my drive is a little steep but not Excessively, took it back to the dealer they say they have changed the reservoir but it did come back with the same ammount of fluid, mmmm wierd. Just wondered if anyone else has seen this problem also getting it into 1st and second gear is really stiff sometimes, any clues anyone.

Thanks

If your reservior was properly filled in the first place, then it makes sense that the replacement shows the same level (They should fill the fluid to the line, then it's full.) Assuming you didn't lose much fluid in the first place.

Are you asking if your brake fluid issue could be causing a shifting issue? No it couldn't. The worse that could happen is that you get a little air in the brake system and the feel gets a little spongy.

Any new car has a chance of a defect, I doubt it's a common problem unless it is a reoccuring one.

Well its still leaking brake fluid from the reservoir cap, Mazda gave me another car to try and that leaked too, I urge you all to check this, mine is a 2006 model, I park my car on my drive sloping downward, after 3 weeks it leaks about 2 tea spoons i know this because i have put a plastic bag around it, Mazda are doing nothing about it they tell me to take out some fluid so it dosent leak down to the min mark THATS A JOKE I'M NOW SEEKING LEGAL ACTION...

Any Thoughts...
