I have an 05M3 5door (base as base gets) and I was noticing that on my display for the cd player that there is no temp or ac level or whatever is supposed to go there. Is that something that I should have looked at of does it not come on all cars?

 

temp, a/c and fan level display are only on the vehicles with auto climate control. Base model would not have it.

Anything can be done with enough money....Problem is it would probably be way too expensive to upgrade your car to make it worth it. I've got the base 4-door (i model, truly as base as base gets....I've got crank windows and manual locks....My AC/Climate control works fine.)

Like they said, the stuff on the right side (fan speed, position, etc.) is all part of the ACC system. It could probably be retrofitted, but it would most definitely cost so much money you'd probably be better off just trading your car in for a GT that comes with that option and save yourself the trouble.

dentinger, all US Mz3's from '06 and newer have the exterior ambient temp. His is a '05 so it wouldn't have that.
