The "2.3" and "3" are held on by adhesive only. You can use a piece of fishing line (or floss, etc.) to saw back and forth through the adhesive. Once that's off you can clean off the rest of the left over adhesive (goo gone works wonders).

The "mazda" part is held on by adhesive as well as two pins. You can remove it the same way however it will leave two holes in the back of the car, which if you're debadging you'll have to have filled and painted.

on the 2007 mazdai sport the 3 is tape, but the "mazda" on the rear has (3) pins with plastic caps to hold it on. I removed mine and put MZ 2.0 usingnew badging from "badgeyouride.com" . the hold are pretty good size.

Hmmm. I used to have that one saved to favs myself until I realised I'd probably never use it.
I was on it a coupla' times, but their selection, especially of fonts, is very limited. As I recall, block was the only style they carried. I also remember writing them but never got any answers to my questions.

Default RE: Badge Removal

I have removed my badging on my 05 mazda 3 HB. Just like an earlier post the 2.3 and 3 part of the badges can be removed without any holes behind them. The way I removed my was a heat gun. Very easy and clean. When I removed the mazda and mazda symbolethere were holes behind them. I used the same heat gunprocess also so I was able to stick them back on once I saw that there were holes. I have recently found a paint shop to fill the holes. They said they would have to paint the rear bumperas well as fill in the holes. I got him down to$400. Now I just have to come up with the money.
