Default Bad Gas Mileage

04 2.0L ATX Normal driving with mods = 90-100 per quarter tank of gas. Mods=Monzta's timing, cai, header (no cat), voltage stablizer, Bosch plat 4's (don't ask)((previous owner))(((NGK's on there way)))

Had to get plates so everything back to stock due to massive CEL problems

Stock airbox, no voltage stablizer, stock header, stock timing. Now i get 50-60 miles per quarter tank. basically i'm lucky to get 200 miles in a full tank?

What happened? I can't believe that exhaust and a CAI would free up 50+ miles per quarter tank of gas.

Have you cleared all the codes and/or disconnected the battery to reset the computer. My 08 2.3 is getting between 28 and 30 MPGdepending on the gas.

Of course I do. I reset the ECU after any kind of mod I do. I would of had to reset the ecu and go through the -drive cycle- to reset the ECU to pass emissions testing to get the plates. Right now I am only getting about 18 to 20 city and about 22 to 25 highway, on a good day.
