Well, i got my mazda 3 i touring (silver metalic) 2008 like 1 month ago and i just found out today that someone scratched the back area (left of the license plate).
At the left of the license plate edge, there was a verticle deep scratch (can see interior greyish color) follow by a horizontal scratch across (scratched, but was still silverish). Judging from this view and where i live, i'm assuming someone backed out of their garage and made contact with it because the scratch had some remains toward the left

Anyone have any suggestions how to cover it up?
I've heard about the Mothers California Gold Scratch Remover, but i'm not sure if it's going to cover up the deeper one

All I can say is that sucks... Ya I would try buffing it out or see if your local guy can do it for you.
Maybe at a detail shop if the scatch isnt to bad.
