To anyone who owns a 2010 Mazda3
First of all i have no idea what you were looking at when you bought it but it wasent this car. But on a more serious note, your *ahem* car may be eligible for a TSB regarding the whole engine wiring harness being to short and possibly causing shorts or mis-calibrated systems, while your there see if you can get the address or the design team for the car (inside and out) and make sure to email me the info so i can pay them a surprise visit.

That's what happens when you buy a car at night!! haha. Anyway I agree with you 100%, that car is f**kin UGLY. To bad the engine wiring harness issue will not cause Mazda to do a total recall and give those who bought 2010 Mazda 3 their money back

I wonder if protege owners felt the same way when the 3 came in to being.
You have to admit though, this 2010 "3" is an absolute discrace to the heritasge of Mazda.
For the most part, alll previous Mazdas were reasonably stylish, and good looking cars.
The design team behind this 2010 model must have been on PCP when they came up with this abomination.
Bob.

Along with some of their other interests (I think Rover was among them) Ford dumped 20% of their share in Mazda earlier this year to help alleviate their own financial burdens. That leaves them with only +/-12% share in the company. No longer the controlling interest.
And speaking of Ford, where has Scott (SST) been? 'Anybody heard from him?

In defense of the 2010 3
I think my 2010 3 looks great! Design features to check out, once you get past the happy face...
Cat's eyes taillights.
Twin ridgelines along the side - one above the doorhandle line, and one near the ground. Both angled forward, making the car look like it's moving even when standing still.
In the front, the upper ridge flows around the top of the grill - in the rear, the lower flows around the bumper.
Fog light area in front of the front wheels - flared out and forward to look like a GT racecar.
If you don't like the face, get the bra and it's covered. Done.
Your last gen 3 is looking like the 6 year old design that it is. Quit whining about a missing harness clip and get with the times.
