Default are all strut bars created equal?

just curious,

im in no mood to spend 300 dollars on a mazda speed piece of metal to run between my front struts. im more inclined to buy this one -

its made out of aluminum...do u guys think it would do the trick? I think as long as you have something there, it works. On my dads 2004 Acura TL he has one from the factory thats just a welded pipe, nothing fancy, same thing on my friends 1997 CL...

Default RE: are all strut bars created equal?

all strut bars tend to be the same thing... the appearance is mainly the difference between them... also, some are meant to be more flexible than others. if you have your car too stiff, you can cause the problem of understeering or oversteering.
