air bag modem

My airbag light went off and so I took the car to the dealership and they said that I needed a new airbag modem,... they sell them for $400. Anyone know where to get one for cheaper?

Any help is appreciated.

What year is it and is it a 4DR or a HB?
Also, did they call it a module?

No such thing as an airbag modem. Airbag module is correct. $400 isn't a bad price for an airbag module.

Are you out of warranty?

Sorry, airbag module

My car is a 2004 Mazda 3 Hatchback 5DR. The warranty on the vehicle has expired. Do you know of one that is cheaper.
