Default aem air bypass valve

After two years I am finally getting around to putting mods on my 3! I am about to buy an AEM CAI and was wondering if water ingestion was a frequent enough issue that I should also buy the air bypass valve?

Default RE: aem air bypass valve

If you need a bypass valve, I've got one I've been trying to get rid of for almost a year now lol. Never been used. As for water ingestion, It all depends on where you live. If you live in a rainy climate, where your streets flood, or you drive where places are flooded, than I would get one. However, if you live in a place like, for example, Nevada, I wouldn't even bother with it.
