Default Adding Factory Cruise Control

Considering my '08 Mazda3 iSport has a drive-by-wire throttle, how difficult would it be to add factory cruise control? How much would the parts cost? Has anyone ever done it?

Default RE: Adding Factory Cruise Control

On '06 and previous year models all that was needed to add cruise control was to add the switches and the brake switch. I think the parts cost about $100 unless you could get them cheaper from a junkyard or somewhere else.

There's been rumor that that method doesn't work on '07 and newer models. There's a guy on www.mazda3forums.com who's going to try it on his newer model so I'll chime back in once he posts his results.
