Default ABS control module advice

I have brake pedal fade and the shop told me it is the ABS control module. I couldn't afford a new one so i bought a used one. They asked if my vehicle had dynamic stability control. I said no, but subsequently realized (decoded VIN out of interest) it in fact does have DSC. Are the ABS control modules different whether you have DSC or not? do all 2010 mazda 3 sport have DSC? Any advice would be helpful before I try to install module I purchased. Thank you.

The ABS control modules are VIN applicated . If a supplier is offering and sold you one only by application. I would contact them first before installing it.
There is an exact answer to your question but because it is brakes I suggest you use a factory service manual to find your exact answers .
There are several on line resources for them.

On the dash driver side that I’d number is your VIN. Also in the drivers door you will see the VIN. The VIN is how you find everything about your exact vehicle .
The VIN is also on your pink slip , insurance card or paper and your vehicle registration.

You are a CA. Resident so all this you should know ?

And you even stated using the VIN in your first post on this thread?

Using the VIN is the best way when looking up parts to identify the correct part the first time . Anything else is second to that.

You need to post the service history of your car and clearly explain what you term brake fade. Brake fade is a hard pedal and a loss of friction when the brakes get hot making it very hard to stop. If your getting a spongy pedal when the brakes get hot It may be something simple like a need to change the brake fluid.
