An arm and a leg if you have Mazda do it!!! Call the service department I'm sure they would help you out.

Other people may have a different feeling than I do. Maybe its my background, I am a mechanical engineer and we believe don't fix it unless it is broken. Go thru your fluids. I changed my transmission fluid, but I looked at my other fluids and they didn't seem to need it. I have 39k on my 2008 mazda 3s.

If you did the 30k service I think at the dealership i go to it was like $600. So like I said id just check the fluids and see which ones need them. Always change your oil and I think you will be alright. Let us know what you choose to do!

I like my dealer. They've never pushed me to get that extra crap and never came to me asking to have extra stuff fixed 'cause it's never needed it.

I've done nothing more than regular oil changes around 8k miles and had my tires replaced once at Discount Tire. Otherwise the fluids have been fine. At 60k I'm gonna have the trans flushed as its necessary for longevity but otherwise, yep. Car runs smooth as hell.

I let my roommate drive it a week or so ago since I was downtown and drunk. She drives a 2002 or 2001 or whatever Civic, 5 speed. She drove mine and was, "OMG the shift is SMOOTH and it runs nice! And... OMG your brakes work great!" lol

Well I recently had a 15,000 mile tuneup, and it cost me 288 dollars. I'm guessing it will be around that, but you can always call mazda and ask.

The tranny flush is a couple hundred. I had mine done a little while back and it was dark brown. After seeing mine, I would get yours done before you hit 60k miles.

My dealer told me $138 for the flush, fluid and everything. U have an auto or stick?

And now I'm at almost 53k miles and I'm going to put 1200 miles on it this week (aye!!) so yeah I'll be getting it serviced soon.
