2019 Mazda 3 USB playlist not recognized

2019 Mazda 3 USB playlist not recognized
Was there a change in how playlists are recognized? My 2017 Mazda 3 would recognize Windows Media Player playlists, but my new 2019 doesn't seem to recognize them. All of my songs show up, but the Playlist screen is empty.
