New to the forum, but not new to Mazda. I'm on my third brand new 3 in a row and I've installed aftermarket audio equipment in all of my previous cars with ease.
My question: does anyone know if it's possible to install a line out converter with the new (2016) models? Now that there's no in-dash radio to tap into, I haven't the slightest idea where to start. I'd like to keep the factory audio (for now) but still be able to hook up the subwoofer and amplifier that I just took out of my 2010 3 (JL Audio 12W6V2D4).
Any help is appreciated and please feel free to move this thread if it's in the wrong place.
Alan you said your not new to mazda so i will assume you onow a thing or 2.
instead of a line out converter that would pigyback the power from your left and right channel b+ ang G-
to run audio to amp. They sell a harness that will plug and play to your factory wiring giving you your female audio outputs for amp. Similar to attached photo
