Hey all, could use a bit of help with a BSM issue. My wife took out the passenger side mirror backing out the garage, I figured simple enough I can order a new one and easily replace it. Replaced the mirror and now the BSM light is flashing on the dash. Disconnected the battery thinking maybe that would reset something but it is still flashing. What am I missing, what can I do to fix this?

When you start the engine, you should see the BSM light flash in each mirror. Can you confirm this is happening with both mirrors.

 

Both of the BSM lights flash on the mirrors. The BSM light is still on on the dash.

 

Get it scanned for fault codes.
