2013 Mazda 3 electrical issues
My 2013 Mazda has 105,000 miles and I am starting to experience a variety of problems that I think are electrical related. The inside switch on my drivers door does not work to unopen doors. I often have to flick it several times or just unlock the doors manually. I have noticed lately that when I hit a bump in the road, or come to a stop using brakes, my car radio stations will start going nuts. They keep recycling through a number of stations. I am not able to use the on/off button to turn the radio off when this occurs. The only way I am able to control the stations is by using the Mode, Channel and Volumn controls on the steering wheel. This is a fairly randomn problem although starting to happen more frequently. Also, we have noticed the charging port for mobile devices does not seem to charge. We have tried different cords and connectors and we get no charge. The same ports and connectors will work inside the house.
I know for some these may seem relatively minor, but the fact that more problems are starting to occur is concerning. I do have an appointment to see my mechanic next week but if I can get some ideas to point him to I would appreciate it.
