2012 Mazda 3 recall?

Hello,
I got something in the mail today saying there was a recall on my Mazda 3, apparently the airbags are defective/something about metal being projected upon deployment. Has anyone heard about this?

Sounds like the Takata airbag issue which has been plaguing much of the industry; two of our three cars (Honda and Chrysler) were hit by this recall last year.
