Hey all, 1st post! I recently got into a 2011 3 Hatchback this is my 4th mazda.... however i am looking to put a roof rack system on her, the rain gutter i know how to remove them and all but when i put the rack system on do i replace the rain gutter cover? or do i remove the tags and put the anchor right through it?

Unfortunately, the only reason I ever removed those covers was to get the crud out that had built up beneath them. I don't know how to answer your question, but perhaps someone here does?

 

You only remove the tags to install the rack into the pre threaded holes.
