lol u scared me there. if theyre gonna continue the mazdaspeed 6 then im assuming theyre gonna continue the 3 as well. theres no reason they should stop production on a popular car.

ORIGINAL: SILVERSP33D

There were supposedly 5,000 U.S.-bound Mazdaspeed3's for the 2007 model year. What is the allotment for 2008?
5,000. And I got one of them![sm=wootwoot.gif]
where did you get that information for the 2008 U.S. allotment? i contacted mazda and they told me that that information has not been released yet and to contact them again in a couple months. either mazdaUSA is lying to me or you dont know what yer talking about.

Seems to happen even if you baby the car. At least it cleans up easily.

Same situation with mine. I remember reading a thread in this forum indicating that this is due to a combination of high octane fuel and high torque at low RPMs, but I don't know if that is the actual cause. My car also gets a significant amount of brake dust on the front wheels, which bothers me more since the wheels are not as easy to clean as the exhaust. :-( In retrospect, these are such minor things I can easily overlook given the car's other stellar attributes. :-)
