Default 2008 Mazda 3S Belt Change

I just changed my belts in my car. I have around 44k. The drive belt took me 5 minutes, I was scared for a second thinking I got the wrong part because I routed the belt wrong. The AC condenser belt is a pain in the neck, but took a little fabrication to get it on but not that bad. Here are some pics.

So happy I finally got that done, sick of the noise the old belt made.

Got done with that, cleaned the rims and got the car washed. It looks damn good right now!

Yes, the instructions called them "jigs" and they said they would come with the AC belt. Well mine didn't! So I just used a flat head screw driver and got it started as far as I could, then I cranked the drive pulley and after half an hour of playing around I got it on.

Speaking of which, if I cranked both ways would that hurt the engine?

They both were OEM parts. I got them both for around 20 bucks.

www.tascaparts.com

another good site is

www.mazdaparts.org

Tasca is actually only like 30 minutes away from me but I have had good luck with them...
