2007 owners manual
Hello everyone. I was wondering if someone could post an owners manual in pdf. I'm not mazda 3 owner yet... actully we are considering buying 5 dr atgt version. It sounds like mazda 3 gets you more for your $$$ than civic and corola combined...
Thanks in advance

Well. I can not figure out how to upload the file. But you can get it at www.mazda.ca. Sign up as a member on the owners page and you will find it there.
Just a note as well. After I bought the car and was online looking thru the manual. I started seeing features and such. Like tire pressure monitor. Traction control. Started getting excited cause I did not think the car had these things. Turns out it doesent. Only get these things with the Speed3Turbo version.
All well.
All well.

If you are not an owner, what do you want the manual for? It's not useful in assessing whether or not to buy the car IMO. Check out edmunds.com, and/or get a consumer reports guide.

Just so you know I did read most of the reviews for mazda3. But, I'm not sure if you are aware of this simple fact that many details contained in the owners manual never see a day light in reviews and on automakers websites... Said that, it should now make sence why I want to read one.
Here it is...

I'd be interested in hearing, pawel, any detail you read in the manual which ends up being big in your buying decision.
Here are some of my comments for you, hope you find them of interest:
1) The 3 does not have a trunk release on the keyfob. I consider it a minor pain - consider if it would be a major pain for you.
2) Some models don't have variable intermittent wipers. Make sure you are okay with that, if you happen to choose one of those models.
3) Inspect the paint thoroughly before taking delivery of the car. I discovered some paint chipping on mine, had to argue with the dealer for over a month before it was properly rectified. Mechanically, I have had zero issues, I'm quite impressed with that (owner since January 07).
4) The regular CD player does not play MP3 CDs.
5) Some owners who live where it is very hot feel the AC is not especially strong. My personal experience has been nothing but great. I don't, however, live in the desert.
6) This car handles MUCH better than a Corolla, and has a much more modern interior than a Corolla (the Corolla is way overdue for a major facelift). I strongly prefer the exterior look of the M3 to the staid Corolla.
7) When I bought, the Honda dealers were unwilling to talk price on the Civic, whereas the Mazda dealers came down quite a bit from MSRP. I got my 3 forroughly $2K less than a comparable Civic would have cost. Re: the Civic, many owners end up not liking their two tier speedo/gauges layout.

It's funny regarding your experiences, regarding costs. We looked at the Corolla, Civic and 3, before buying the 3. I found the prices were about the same for each vehicle, similarily equipped. That said, the 3 just has a great interior, nice fit and finish, decent stereo and a nice set of guages, especially at night, and a smooth 5-speed manual. The Corolla is old looking, and the Civics steering wheel just does not cut ir IMHO. I do howebever like the split dash which does take some getting used to however, the speedometer is at eye level. The Civic's manual was nicer than the 3, but overall, the 3 was a clear winner for me.
agreeing with both of you regarding the civic the corolla and the m3. the m3 is the best choice. although the civic plays mp3 cds as the m3 does not who really needs them. yes iu have them but i also have an mp3 that works just as well. also yea i find that there is no automatic trunk opener on the key fob. that is kind of a pain i keep reaching for it but doesnt have it lol. not a big deal. starting to get paint chipping though but im thinkin its from trucks (cuz i am on a road where there is plenty of construction blah) and overall the car has served me beautifully. just had the one problem and that was fixed in one hour.
