Hi all - i'm a first time poster here and need some advice. I own a 2007 MAZDA 3s 5spd GT, and opted for the built in gps. It has served me insanely well until recently; it appears that the carputer that drives the display and controls has died. This is no longer covered under my warranty (i have about 35k miles which is under the 36000 mile warranty, but i have 38 months on the car which puts it out of the 36 month warranty period!).

I'm in the market to find a replacement carputer which plays nice with the existing controls; or any other creative options so i dont have a display that... just doesnt work and controls that do nothing in my car.

I'm a little dissapointed right now being that this isn't a cheap option... and im regretting getting the built in.

Any advice would be a huge help!!!!
