Hi
I am having a problem with my 2006 Mazda 6

3-4 times a year the car when cruising along will suddenly slow down , and all the lights come on the dash and the gauges all go crazy back and forth. No acceleration will occur and the car just limps . Dangerous on the freeways.
once I have pulled over I can immediately restart the car as if nothing happened and drive on for many months before it happens again. I know it will happen again
Nothing shows on the computer diagnosis anfd Mazda and my regular mechanic haven’t really offered a suggestion except that it maybe a intermittent fault in the alternator but maybe not
Any one had similar problems?
