Looking into getting a 2006 hatch loaded in great shape with 5 speed but have 2 others as options. A 2010 with 5 speed and pretty loaded just no sunroof and a 2013 Touring loaded with automatic trans. All 3 in same price range and in great shape and close mileage. I am trading my 2006 Cayenne in on one, tired of stopping at every gas station I pass. All 3 engine options as well to choose. The 06 has the 2.3 5 speed, 10 has the 2.5 6 speed and the 13 has the 2.0 automatic. My wife has a 2021 CX5 and we love it. I read where the 2010 was rated worst model due to bad clutches, but with 150K miles I am sure it has been replaced by now with a better unit so that problem should be cured. Also read where the 2010 and newer had the "melting dash" problem but neither of them show signs yet and this is Florida so getting a cover should prevent it. Any advice to which would be best is greatly appreciated. Happily getting out of a Porsche and into a Mazda, I had enough.

 

If you want power go for the 2010, for simplicity and long life go for the 2013.
