Just picked up an 06 mazda 3 a few months ago with 112k on it. Seems to have trouble shifting from 3rd to 4th every once in a while. So yesterday I did transmission fluid flush and replaced the filter. Now today driving around the P0882 code came up. I checked the battery at autozone and it's good, only a year old. Put the battery back in and checked for any codes ans nothing came up so far.

It seems like replacing the TCM might be my only option? Anyone else had this issue? Could it possible be the speed sensor? Is there anything else I can check or test before completely replacing the TCM?
