Default 2005 Mazda 3 seat belt trouble

Seat belt buckle is not working. Front driver's side seat belt will not stay in the buckle. I did some research and saw where some people were able to get this replaced free of charge. Is there a recall on this? If not, does anyone know about how much this part is and how difficult it it to replace? I know how to remove the seat, just not sure of the electical connecters underneath and fasteners involved in removing the old buckle and replacing it. Any input is appreciated.

perfect excuse for racing harness , safer than normal seatbelts. im not sure on this, ill have to take a look into it later, but i would assume it would be a safety recall, assuming your kid stuck something in there or some dirt
